The solar installation process has been quite smooth with PES Solar. They offered a good quality product (REC solar) and they have been very good during the entire process. They handled the HOA and permitting process and they kept me updated during the entire process. I highly recommend them.
We bought a solar system from PES solar 2 years ago and Don the Vice President and Salesman sold us on it, for our 20 year old roof, with the promise that PES solar would take off and put back on the solar panels within the first 5 years for free. The time has come to hold PES solar to their promise they sold us on, over that exact concern over the age of our roof, and now the story has changed that "its free if we use their roofer only". I've been with PES SOLAR for over 3 years now and am very happy with their service and results. My power bill averages around 35 to 65 dollars per month and I use my AC a lot! I highly recommend them!
Do not use this company. We signed the contract over a year ago and we still are not on line yet. There has been one issue after another. It took till July just to get the panels in. Then they wired up the panel box wrong 4 times. We failed inspection three times out of four. We were told that this system would be installed and active by the first time September then that got pushed back till December and here it is 2023 already and still were not online. No one is in charge or this should not of happened.
We had choosen PES from a handful of solar companies, mainly due to the professionalism of the sales rep, Don Ketty. Within few weeks of the installation and for the next two months we received bills from LCEC, showing no solar impact on our electric bill. The bills were in excess of $300 for the months. I called Don, and he looked into and determined it needed someone to come out and look at the installation. It was detemined that more than 3/4 of the panels were not working.
