I normally go to the Bass Pro in Macon, as it is closer to my house, but my mom lives closer to this one, so we drove the hour to meet them. My mom had already gotten the ticket, and the kids were so excited. When we get to the front I asked if we could take 2 pictures, one with the 4 grandchildren and 1 with just my 2. The elf said sorry, but no. You can get another ticket for that (my kids are 3 and 9 months old, like we can make it another 2 hours...) so that conversation was over. I went to their Christmas wonderland and it was awesome. It was well decorated, rides for the kids, free pictures with Santa. Very cool!
I was sadly disappointed with Bass Pro Shops Santa Wonderland this year. I've taken my sons there for the past 7 years at least! First, on the carousel, my son had to get off before the ride started because they had let too many people on. He did not want to stand in the line again so he missed out. When I told an associate they did not seem to care, gave a quick "sorry" and turned away. We took our daughter to see Santa at Bass Pro Shop yesterday. While we didn't expect to have to wait in line for a ticket and then wait for the appointed time to come wait in line, I'm happy with the overall experience. Seriously, free activities, free carousel ride, free visit with Santa and a free photo with Santa, what's to complain about? Thanks Bass Pro Shop for making my child and my pockets happy!
