My husband was having a”Thyroid Storm” and stupid Lexington Medical Hospital sent him home from their ER, with a diagnosis of ‘fever!’ I ended up taking him to Park Ridge and the brilliant ER doc there, quickly diagnosed him, immediately ordered him an ambulance to transport him to Richland, (because there was an on-staff top-notch Endocrinologist on staff), and he was admitted there, (after almost dying), and stayed there 10 days. Thought last time I was here they were good. This visit Sucks! Sitting in waiting room in pain possible torn calf muscle 4 hours later I’m still sitting in waiting room
Staff great . I will say the infection control obviously not so much since I’m the 7 breast cancer patient to contract MSSA staph in the breast after surgery that i know of. I was 1 of 3 by my doctor in one week . Stay away from this facility surgery wise if cancer patient . We are high risk but never had a issue till surgery at this facility i was even 2 years post radiation and chemo!
I have only had exceptional visits to PH Baptist Parkridge, including ER visits. My experience with the ER has been VERY quick - into a doctor right away. The staff is exceptionally friendly and capable.
They are horrible for waiting in the er. 5 hours and taken people that eas there for less than a hour. Just keep treating my 15 year old like he was no one this is not the first time either. Go back to the way u were when u first opened up. I gave u 1 star but as of last night u don't even deserve that. Terrible service and really bad attitudes all the way around. Check yourself you need to treat us like u would treat your family thats called great health care. 00000 stars.
Palmetto health is horrible for waiting. Almost 4 hrs and still waiting is no very good health care. Wow. Great job. NOT!! MY 15 yr old son is dizzy and had blurred vision and they leave him in the waiting room. I use to Love this place so friendly and get in and out. What happen to good health care services? Your hospitals do not have it anymore..
