Technician came out to repair broken spring. Was told $189. He gave me the scare tactic that if I didn’t rebuild I would need entire new door within a year. They charge you $69 just to arrive at house so you already have one bullet in before they get there. I had to get the “rebuild” package for $799+ tax. They were charging me $150 for 10- 4” nylon rollers that cost $1.50/pc. Tech was there for ~90 minutes. Material cost of what was used ~$250. 90 minutes of labor. $366/hr. Absolutely ridiculous. I’m a handicapped senior citizen with a broken garage door. I called Precision Overhead Garage Door. A nice and very informative technician came to fix my garage door. After inspecting it he gave me some advice about the door and three options, fix what was broken, upgrade some of the parts, or a brand new door. I went with the first option as I needed the door fixed that day. Nice technicians who come to your house, but awful policies. We bought a top of the line garage door, and less than a year later, there were noises. We called Precision, they sent someone out and then insisted on charging $150 plus tax for very minimal service. While I can appreciate that it is a business and not everything should be free, $150 is way too much money for the service performed. If you're looking for service at a fair price, look elsewhere.
Same day estimate done which was great. Love the text message updates. Our old wooden door finally fell apart but we were excited when Precision showed up to install the new door. Looks great, fast friendly service.

Door was not working yesterday. Called this morning and Eric was here, at the time stated. He explained different options and costs. I decided which options would best suit my needs. He was on time, efficient, professional, respectful and fully informed me of everything he was going to do. The job was done in a timely manner and everything was cleaned up when he was done.
