I moved here 3 years ago and switched doctors several times before finding one that has a great rapport with children. Dr. Adetona is awesome! He never rushes out of the room to go see the next patient like most doctors do. My son is autistic and Dr Adetona has always been patient and kind and understanding. His wife is a dentist in the same building.....and now.....wait for it..... They now offer Urgent Care in the same building as well!!! We came here because we do not vaccinate our children and we have found only a small handful of pediatric doctors that are accepting of this. He is one of them. He is pretty great with the children but if you want to be run down and spoken to like you are a completely incompetent and inadequate parent, you must come here. His office refused to release my daughter's medical records until a $30 bill was paid. Which was a result of him lying on her medical records and saying she was sick on her visit. A visit in which he never even examined her on. She just received a shot which is supposed to be covered under preventative care. He never even saw her that day. We asked him to change it and his office refused. So they lied on the medical records to get insurance money and when confronted about it they refused to own up to it. I've been going to practical approach since my daughter was about 3 and of course when I had my son there was no question about where to take him. Don't get me wrong the doctor and dentist are amazing my children love them and I think they do a great job with care. However the way the office is run is another story. They take a very long time to be seen after you arrive for your appointment. You can't be late 10- mins or so because they cancel your appointment but yet you can wait there over an hour ( when there is hardly any patients to be seen before you ) . Expect to be there two hours from the time you schedule your appointment if you go here that's even if you arrive on time . They charge $25 if appointment is not cancel but they waste 2 hours of your time .
