We have been coming to Practical Approach Pediatrics for 3 years now and I love Dr. Adetona! He is great with my boys and I feel like he really cares for them and loves his work. I also feel like he respects my opinion and desicions as a mother, even when my way of doing things don't align with his own views. I selected dr. adetona to be my daughters pcp. I called about a month ago to bring her in for pink eye and they told me that they couldn't see her till five days out because she was a new pt. it was a five min appt! I already diagnosed her just needed a dr script!! I understand not making new patient appointments on the same day so I asked if I could bring her in the following day and they flat out told me no! A wonderful blessing to be part of an awesome office.
After our pediatrician for the last 11 yrs retired, I wasn't sure what we would do. I heard about Dr. Adetona and decided to try him today with our newest baby. Words cannot describe how wonderful he was!!!! It almost brought me to tears watching him carrying my daughter and telling her that he can't wait to watch her grow up and see what God has planned for her. He listened to every concern I had and addressed each one. I will recommend him to everyone I know!!!
You can tell they love what they do and put their hearts into their work completely! I would recommend them to anyone looking to work along side their pediatrician to benefit their child in the best way possible :)
Really bad experience with front desk and office manager, they are not professional and clerk Nicky is rude. Right when we arrived for our appt they told us they had a problem with my insurance and dr can't see us, and when i complained, office manager basically told me without apologies that it was my fault because i did not verify my insurance before coming to the office....never in my life i had to do this with appts for me or my kids, the dr offices do this for you....too bad! So I took my daughter in to get seen because she was extremely congested and was gasping and gagging for air. "Dr" adetona came into the room to take a look at her, he made me feel like I was wasting his precious time first off then as I continued to explain to him her symptoms he would cut me off and say that I was not suctioning out her boogers and I was! Then he suctioned out her boogers using saline and said to me "THERE! YOU SEE MOM THAT'S ALL YOU NEEDED TO DO!" He didn't test her for the flu or rsv and I KNEW she had s... read more
Do not take your kids here. The receptionist is very rude. If you do triple check your appointment time as they will change it on you when you arrive and tell you to come back at a later date. They see you kids as a number not a person.
