Buyer "BEWARE" you are dealing with an unethical company (Power Home Remodeling) headquartered in Chester, PA. My experience with the company: On 8/20/20 someone came to my home offering a free inspection of my roof, (his name was Frank). The sales rep needs to keep up with construction products. They almost lost a sale as he was selling me a window that they could not manufacture. The individual that did the measurements corrected it but I still have a window that I wanted replaced in my home. The crew did a great job. I put up barriers to contain the dust at the recommendation of the individual that did the measurements suggested. The crew had barriers they used but what I out confined any dust from cutting confined to a very small area around the windows. ... read more

This company came to quote us for an entire roof system ( was told many times this includes fascia & Soffit), all new vents, magnetic sweep of property, gutters and any wood that needed to be replaced. We agreed for the entire roof system for $21000, then after the roof was removed they informed us that they did not include the fascia and soffit, they also forgot to add the skylight ( even though they has measured and took the information down). My husband and I had an absolutely TERRIBLE experience with this company getting new siding installed. I would not recommend them to anyone. The company they had come to remove the asbestos siding tore up almost every window screen on our house. Someone from Power Home Remodeling came to fix the screens, but it was during an ice storm and they made a muddy mess of my kitchen floor. We were very please with the sales & installation of our windows & gutters. Everyone was especially knowledgeable and professional. They did an excellent job & cleanup was awesome. The product seems great but we are not happy that if you need service that you are not contacting the same office that you dealt with and the timing of repairs is too long. We have a small issue with our gutters but hesitate to call. The process is not that easy and scheduling is too far out.

It took a long time (weeks) for service team to come look at our warrantied patio door. Two times I was scheduled and they had to call to cancel because although they scheduled the appointment, they called the day prior to reschedule because they "didn't have a service person anymore for that day". Finally, the third appointment schedule wasn't cancelled and the service person did show. They were agreeable that there was probably an issue with the door on their part. Overall it was not a.bad experience. We got a new roof and gutters. One thing i didn't aprreciate is their pressured selling tactic- if you dont sign today, the price goes up drastically. Also, they broke one of my outdoor lights when doing my gutters which I didnt realize until after they left. There was no response when i tried to reach them regarding the broken light.

For the most part my experience was sufficiently good to merit a 4 Star; not a 5 because of the following. I initially met their Rep in a Sam's Wholesale Club, I went to them because I had already decided I wanted to replace some windows. Next came the onside Sales Team, very thorough in their presentation, but what I needed done was not really in their pitch. Overall the experience wasnt bad. We got a new roof and gutters. I dont like their selling tactics such as we will give this price but ONLY if you sign today. Also when they did our gutters the broke one of our outdoor lights which i didnt notice until they left. No response to my attempts to reach them about it.
