This is one of my favorite Italian places anywhere. I used to come here 10 years ago and it hasn't changed. The chicken with asiago cheese, the gnocchi, and paglia and fieno are to die for.
A-mazing!!!! – We randomly chose Porcini because we were looking for a BYOB restaurant with Italian cuisine. When we first walked into the restaurant we noticed that it was a very tiny place and we immediately lowered our expectations. We decided to stay and try it anyway. Authentic Gourmet Italian – Stumbled on this while on business trip. Having spent many months in Italy on business, this is the REAL DEAL. Do yourself a favor and have one of the owner's set your menu - Veal Scallopini is to die for. This is where the locals go - did not see one patron enter who was not a repeat. Do not miss this!
Porcini is ok, but service can be bad I came here for a work event and we rented out the top floor. The ceilings were low, and it made the small room seem even smaller. Food was good, but I thought one of the servers was extremely rude (i.e. the guest of honor was giving a speech and the server continued to loudly deliver plates... when asked to stop, he refused and said he had to deliver the food).
