The second oldest BYOB in Philadelphia has all of the classic Italian fare that you would expect, and a few specials you might not. A very underrated spot that's as small as a closet and casually eleg

This is one of my favorite Italian places anywhere. I used to come here 10 years ago and it hasn't changed. The chicken with asiago cheese, the gnocchi, and paglia and fieno are to die for.

A-mazing!!!! – We randomly chose Porcini because we were looking for a BYOB restaurant with Italian cuisine. When we first walked into the restaurant we noticed that it was a very tiny place and we immediately lowered our expectations. We decided to stay and try it anyway. This restaurant turned out to be one of the best places we have ever eaten at by far!! We both come from Italian families, and this place made us feel right at home. The food was exceptional. Authentic Gourmet Italian – Stumbled on this while on business trip. Having spent many months in Italy on business, this is the REAL DEAL. Do yourself a favor and have one of the owner's set your menu - Veal Scallopini is to die for. This is where the locals go - did not see one patron enter who was not a repeat. Do not miss this!

Porcini is ok, but service can be bad I came here for a work event and we rented out the top floor. The ceilings were low, and it made the small room seem even smaller. Food was good, but I thought one of the servers was extremely rude (i.e. the guest of honor was giving a speech and the server continued to loudly deliver plates... when asked to stop, he refused and said he had to deliver the food).
