Decent spa with great if a little crumbling decor, but not sure I'd rush back. Maybe it's better value if you're paying monthly, but £30 one off is overpriced imo, even with access to the lane pool/ gym. The New Docklands banya has more to offer for a lower price - more steam rooms, a cafe and not just a kiosk (that was closed anyway), plus showers are less busy and feels a better, less crowded vibe.
Phoned the Spa no answer 5 mins later they ring back and apologies. The young lady on the phone and front desk is patient, kind,, and thoughtful, explaining everything clearly to me. I can pay online or at the spa on the day, no issue. However if line me ancient bring proof of age to get the half price deal. The price is for the entire day and evening and you choose what time to arrive and leave. I found all the staff truly amazing and very helpful not at all intrusive. Plus points: the facilities are decent. It only has one sauna but it's a fair size, and there's a couple of steam rooms and there's a very large "hot room", around 40-50 degrees C depending on which part of the room you're in, which was surprisingly enjoyable to use. The plunge pool is large and definitely cold enough. (If anything it's too cold - I couldn't really stay in there for more than a few seconds, and I'm pretty used to cold water.)
