- rented a house in Soton for 2 years from them - lied to us in the contract and was very rude over email - left us with no central heating or hot water for over 48 hours in January blizzard - said that a gas leak wasn't an emergency - no emergency number to call - only email - would show up to the property without notice ( which is illegal) - had a severe infestation of silverfish for 2 years, was told it wasn't their problem. We rented a student place from Polygon properties and everything was amazing, house was exactly as described and any minor issues over the past year were dealt with efficiently. They have their own maintenance guy which makes everything so much easier for any minor issues without having to wait ages for a trader to come out. Honestly, no one ever leaves good reviews for property management companies… but Polygon Property is the exception. Their online support is top-notch!! Their maintenance team is incredible and any issued are mostly resolved on the same day! I’ve never had a question go unanswered or a problem unresolved. I really can’t understand the negative reviews, they always seem to come from annoyed customers, but my experience has been nothing but great. Rented a student property with this company. Not a nice place to live. Property had been neglected. Very dirty on moving in day and in a state of disrepair. Complained but told the property had been cleaned. This was clearly not the case- mould, dirty paintwork, stained carpets, layers of dust and an extremely greasy oven. In the end had to involve Southampton City Council to get the repairs done. Avoid!
Worst agency ever!!!don't look after tenants. They lied throughout the contract, when asked to get the house clean at the beginning of the contract they ignored emails and refused to send anyone. The house was a messy and dirty. Just keep an eye out as they are a very shady company.!!!!
