Safety is not their number one priority for their employees.
Cannot believe that a company would get rid of a qualified technician instead of fixing the safety issues. A broken hoist is being used at this dealer, and the tech is expected to work under it, and keep his mouth shut.
As a tech of over 10 years, I've seen a lot of serious accidents and injuries due to poor shop equipment and safety. Safety should always be put above profit for both the employees and customers. It has come to my attention that the exact opposite has happened here. A tech pleaded with management about an unsafe rack and nothing was done. If you fire your employees for reporting undafe working conditions, I want NOTHING to do with your business. Fix and maintain your equipment. Problem solved. Don't fire the guy for reporting the problem. Wonder if FORD MOTOR CORPORATION is aware that this is the way you operat
Hate to hear that a good tech was fired for bringing up safety issues. The shop I worked at if there was a safety concern it was handled immediately. This is just terrible.
It's sad when a company cares more about their profit than a technicians health. Their number 1 priority should be keeping there employees safe
