We came about from our strong desire to create a true alternative to the chilly and sterile feel of many nail salons. Our philosophy is simple...to provide excellent service and comfort in a relaxing, elegant setting while keeping the price tag reasonable.

What a delightful experience – We had a girly party the day before my wedding, and the staff made us feel so comfortable. They set up the food we brought and served us while we enjoyed the most luxurious manis and pedis I've had in the city. The atmosphere and the service where top notch. Thank you for making our day so enjoyable. It's a week and a half later and my toes still look great even after hiking through a rainforest and swimming in the ocean. I have and will continue to recommend Polished Lounge to all my friends.
The best party we ever had – I just moved to SOMA, and found this gem. It was my girlfriend's birthday, and we wanted to surprise her. I spoke with Pauline at Polished Lounge and she fit us in between two other parties that day, and coordinated the whole thing for me - appetizers, cake, chilled champagne...the works. GO BRAZILIAN!!! – Just got my brazillian from Polished Lounge last week and to my surprise, I LOVE IT! I'm one of those low-pain tolerance women so I was a bit nervous when I got there. But the wax person Sophia was awesome. She prepped me before each pull and made it as painless as possible. Shabby Chic Nail Spa in SOMA – Went there after I saw the review. The place is inconspicuos, however parking was pretty easy. Inside the spa, it's a very shabby chic, girly place with vintagey feeling. We had the mani-pedi package, which was pretty good. They use the enamel bowls to soak your feet and hands. My friend and I both got basic manicures, which were such a steal at only $15. There are just nice little touches like pretty little plates to hold your rings/watch, a warm wrap around the shoulders (smelled deliciously like oatmeal cookies!) and a nice massage with warm lotion. I was blown away! – I was a little hesitant about getting a manicure, but my friends told me about this great place that would take care of me...and they were so right. In fact, they made me feel so comfortable and relaxed that I went ahead and got a pedicure too (my very first one). Now, I can't get enough of this place and frequent it regularly. Who can't use a little pampering in their daily lives?

User review by carlyo11 – This was a great experience. The people were friendly, the atmosphere was cute, clean, and relaxing, and it was reasonably priced. They also were able to accomodate two of us at once and we got to sit next to each other and get our treatments at the same time.
