We came about from our strong desire to create a true alternative to the chilly and sterile feel of many nail salons. awesome waxing – Sophia is the best!! I go there for a brazillian which everyone knows is never pleasant, but Sophia does such a great job and its the least painful job I have ever had. The atmosphere is really inviting and relaxing. I have tried so many places for this service and I have yet to find one that is as decent as Sophia (not to mention at a fraction of the cost!)
Oh I miss my Paradise found – Visiting from NY, we stayed at the St. Regis, and enjoyed our stay in SF. In need of a pedicure before a wedding, I was told the best in town is Polished Lounge. After a short walk, I was seated and treated to the best pedicure ever - the Paradise Found. The thorough pampering and graceful treatment was far above any pedicure I've had in NY or LA, even in a day spa. This salon is truly special in so many ways, including their very cute gift boutique. I'm Sorry, the service was just NOT GOOD!!!!! – I have had a lot of pedicure's in my day and this one was awful! Yes the atmosphere is cute and quaint but the service was awful! I brought a whole group of g-friends (8) in for my sister's bachelorette party and we all got the Mani/pedi combo for $50. (including mandatory $10 gratuity which in my opinion made the service even worse!) Perfect 10 – I really can't explain how great this place is... Polished Lounge is the best day spa EVER! I've been to a lot of places that are overpriced hoping to find what I found at this place for a lot less than other salons. From the time I walked into Polished Lounge I was impressed. Fabulous! – I had the best experience today. Great service...I felt like a princess. The atmosphere is relaxing and charming. I thought I had good experiences at ZaZa...but this is better by far in all regards. If you go on a weekend you can park right at the front door! I'll definitely be a regular client.
Cutest nail place! – I love this place! It is so cute! It is really well decorated and smells like flowers, not nail polish. You sit in plush chairs instead of the spa chairs and get to choose a scent for your pedicure bath. I was so relaxed sitting there with my cup of tea and listening to ella fitzgerald. As soon as I left I called my girlfriends and told them that I have to take them there!
Hands down the BEST place to go for a mani/pedi party – My girlfriends and I decided to have our mani/pedi party at the Polished Lounge and we have ALL agreed that it was truly an experience. Pauline and her staff were exceptional and the service we received (down to the details) were truly above and beyond other mani/pedi shops where they just sit you down on the spa chairs and let the chairs do the work. Such a cute place!! – After reading the glowing reviews here, I thought I'd give this place a try. And, the reviews were spot-on. This place is adorable and the people are so nice! Great pedicure and a fabulous foot massage. Calm, pretty, relaxing environment--perfect for a pedi during lunchtime to get away from the office. Also, cute things/jewelry on sale. I'll definitely be coming back...with friends next time!
