Would ABSOLUTELY use Polar for any A/C repairs needed in the future. I had 2 properties that I was selling and found problems with both A/C right before closing. Polar was able to get out to both properties and get the issues resolved quickly which is what I needed since one of the properties was going to be sold the next day! Polar gave us a fair price and did not gouge us!! Another company wanted twice as much for a new central a/c unit. Nick and Damian were cordial and professional. Would definitely call them again!! Recommending to friends!!!
Do not use this company, they price gauge their customers. I was having issues with my AC unit and their tech stated I needed a new contactor and capacitor. As I have no knowledge of these things I trusted them in good faith. I was charged $288 for the contactor and $248 for the capacitor. However l, I looked both these items up afterwards. The contactor retails on amazon for $8.54, exact item, a packard contact item # c240a and a capacitor retails for $40 to $50. No big complaints. I've used them to recently install a central air unit, which appeared to be completed competently. No complaints so far, it works as designed. I've used them several times in the past for routine maintenance for A/C & furnace as well. The prices are competitive. A shout out to Bill, who has cleaned my A/C the last couple of times and has been great. I'm going to request him on future maintenance needs.
Every time they come out the technicians are courteous and professional. The work is always down correctly and the prices have been competitive.
