Best jalapeño cornbread ever, yummy navy beans and okra, delicious blackened chicken. So impressed with huge portions, reasonable prices and friendly service. Even though I live in Oklahoma, I'm coming back and bringing my Cajun food-loving husband next time.
Had the roast beef with gravy and 3 sides.. Could not finish it.. Leftovers I will enjoy later.. Very good meal.. Will definitely return..

Without a doubt the best chicken fried chicken anywhere in DFW. There is nothing disappointing on the Po' menu. Incredible management and a fantastic, friendly staff. Highly recommended for lunch, dinner and the weekend breakfast buffet.

I can't say enough about this place! Seriously.....I feel like family every single time I come in and the food is AMAZING! BEST FRIED SHRIMP ON THE PLANET! If you want good food and a family atmosphere with great service EVERYTIME, you MUST give them a try! My cheat day on my diet is spent with Po' Melvin and the crew!
