I love this place! I only am in Irving about once a month, but I always come here when I am in town. I can honestly say I haven't had any meal here that wasn't excellent.
Chicken fried steak sucked straight out the freezer into the fryer how the hell did y'all get voted one of the best in Texas? Mashed potatoes are out the box add water same with the gravy.. Very disappointed
Being from Louisiana, I am very picky about Cajun cuisine. This is by far, the best in DFW!

Po Melvin's! I've ate there for about 24yrs! Everybody loves that chicken fried steak but I am stuck on the meatloaf with red sauce. The portions are HUGE and you get 3 sides so plan on taking some home and getting to skip another night of cooking! You must go at least once so if you are staying here on business in a hotel, get Uber on the phone, get over there, and plan on sleeping hard after that feast!
