The breakfast buffet is outstanding and far better than any gimmick the Golden Corral could think up.
We just love Po' Melvin's restaurant! Excellent food, friendly service and great prices! Their catfish is perfection on a plate! You just have to go in and try it! Every dish we've had at Po' Melvin's has been sooo delicious. When you're there you feel like it's one big family...and you're included! Do yourself a favor and go!!!

The Pot Roast is excellent. The service is superior!!! The jalapeño cornbread melts in your mouth. All vegetables are good!!!
Po Melvin"s I will give it a 5 star good food service it good...people friendly lots of celebrities has made eaten there like Muhammad Ali Don King, Joe Frazier this is just a few people... Food is terrific!
went here today and oh my i want to live there.. i had a catfish po boy with fries like they do at old orchard beach in maine we call em pier fries there but they are just goodness here.. and my friend had chicken fried steak which was really good too, their white gravy is really good ill prob ask for it on my fries next time! haha. seriously if you have a doubt just go its so good and prices are really decent!!
OMG...Im a new resident to Irving, TX and PO' Melvin's is top on my list.
Jasmine is the BEST waitress in the place!! If you come to this place you should ask for her section!! She made our 1st visit here the best!!! The food here is good but she will be the reason we come back!!!
This was our first time coming for breakfast and boy oh boy, the food was delicious... We will be coming back
