Had an issue with Instacart where I was charged three times for one delivery during the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. Do not own a printer, did not have access to one due to restrictions. So PNC sided with Instacart since there was no way for me to mail the documentation. They overdrafted my account to take back the provisional credits. Never deal with this bank! I have a $100,000 CD coming due in a few days. Called customer service to find about options. Got "*******" quickly. He told me the only way to receive my money was to have it sent by check to my home address and if I wanted my money sent to me I had to send a fax or letter with a copy of my "ID" and my signature notarized. I have been trying to close my account since 5/22/20 in order to have funds purchase a house. Although the frontline CS folks have been very helpful (probably 8 calls and as many hours on the phone) the department that handles account closures is non responsive. CS service keeps telling me they can see I have requested to close the account and have provided the information to BBVA needed to complete this but nothing has been done. We are still trying to close on a Heloc with PNC. We have a 1st mortgage with them. We opened the CHELOC loan application on March 31st. There have been many delays, some attributable to Covid-19 shutdowns. Our Final approval was communicated to us on June 2nd. It is now June 17th and they have not yet prepared the closing documents. I cannot recommend PNC to others. ****** ************

This is the worst bank for customer service and all operations are a joke! I have an acct and credit card with them, anytime I make a purchase with Credit card that has more than enough credit, they issue a fraud alert which through email that can't be responded to. they say call, and when you do they just give you the run around and continue to transfer you to other incompetent service idiots.What ever you do, DO NoT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SHAME OF A BANK!

Do not bank here! Terrible customer relations. Every month its a fight to get deposits corrected, car loans corrected. When you tell them your making an extra payment and to put it all on the principle, at least I expect that to happen. I have even written it on the face of my check. Stupid, ignorant or uncaring people work here. I have already moved most of my money elsewhere.Don't give them the chance to s**** up your hard earned money. I have even wrote to the *** twice, no response. This bank is owned by a bank in *****.

Simple makes you open an individual account for each person on a shared account. Months ago. My individual account went negative by ****. I only used the account because I lost my card for our shared account. Simple is closing all of our accounts over 5 dollars. They want me to mail them a check when I could very easily just transfer it from the shared account. Their customer service people agreed with us on the phone but told us nothing the could do. Now we have to find a new bank.

06.03.20 03:10pm , I just called to the customer service phone number for assistance , this guy who supposedly is a PNC customer service representative , his last name is "Harry" first name "Devie or Devon" , he was really RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. I'm so disappointed. I do not recommend this bank at all.

I have been using bbva since i was 16, today i was purchasing games on my switch and my card was locked for supposed fraud. Well I've been on hold for almost an hour and am still waiting for assistance from the bank security people. The line rang a few times and then i was put back on hold. I am NOT at all happy with this wait time! What if i was trying to buy groceries when my card got locked? This wait time is absolutely ridiculous!
