I am a recent new customer of PNC, but thus far I am impressed with my branch and their banking services. The online checks they issue are very attractive looking. I am a 3-month customer so far, but as far as their bank products and personnel go, PNC is tops!
So far, absolutely terrible. STAY CLEAR. It's a decent mobile experience but definitely not worth the headaches. Lots of bad stories here-- I haven't had any fraudulent charges but here's our scenario:Moved all of our money into Simple. In that process, one of our external accounts was flagged as a business account and therefore not able to make transfers... weird, but fine. Complete failure and waste of time. Go elsewhere for any financing needs. All other reviews depict the same. PNC doesn't care.

I've seen a steady decline in service over the years. Lots of employee turnover at my local bank. Local bank did away with Saturday morning hours. I worked out of town and weekday hours weren't sufficient for me/my schedule.Most recently I am trying to understand why it takes two or more weeks for BBVA Alabama to receive (via ***** my credit card payment and to actually post it to my account. PNC is not taking COVID-19 and those who are unemployed into consideration when adding on multiple overdraft fees even after I been calling every day to stop a payment or prevent a payment from happening. If I can't stop ach payments during in unusual circumstance due to the pandemic how could I have prevented those fees or for the account to go into further negative numbers. Very displeased in the service I been receiving from PNC ! I am a business account holder for almost 2 yrs now and the hidden and “system error” of charges I have received drew the line for me! I am formally complaining and contacting all sources possible! Its so easy for big corporations as this to take small minority businesses limited funds, for their financial gain! When I got a postcard from PNC saying they would give me $200 to open an account with them with a $2,000 initial deposit, it seemed like a good deal. Seeing they only have one branch in Houston, and it is in a high traffic Medical Center location, I decided to take my chances with an online application on Monday, 11/23 around noon. I recommend going anywhere else for a mortgage loan. I am a long time customer of PNC for checking and savings, but this experience with the mortgage department has been so painful that I plan on closing out my other accounts to avoid having to deal with them. My main issues is that they are very incompetent with information. They ask for the same documentation multiple times, they cc the wrong people on emails that contain personal info, and do not respond to anything via email. They allowed someone to take ****** dollars out my account I filed a police report and on the 25th of this month will make 60 days why would one with a police report have to wait that long to receive money back do not bank with these people I also found out that they sent my business card to an address they claim I had on file with BBVA I've never had an account with them nor have I ever lived at the address they sent the card too I just want my money back smh
