I paid off my car September 9th, and called asking for just a letter saying I paid off my loan so finalize the sale of a new car. They will not email it and insist on fax or snail mail, so I provided my fax number multiple times. Here we are, Sept 19th now, and every single time I call, someone says - oh we put in the request - and it never comes. I understand the letter is mailed out weeks later, but I expressed the urgency for the need of a simple letter saying I paid off my loan. I have literally called about 6 times now ... read more

I drove to a bank branch to get the letter I was told was mailed out on the 14th - another lie. The branch confirmed it was mailed the 19th after multiple requests. The two gentlemen in the branch were very helpful and nice; but it doesnt erase all the inexperienced people in their load side of the call center. Those people need better training to understand the rules.

Not professional at all. Does not follow correct protocol with people's money. Suppose to protect out money. Well they do not. They put a check from my account not approved by me in the regular mail for 1800. Could not provide me a check number nor a tracking number for the check sent. Who sends a check in the mail without tracking in that amt. Of money. More so, when asked what department unloaded my acct and authorized the check neither dept could give a response. Not only was the bank manager and senior Banker extremely rude and unhelpful, but the customer service rep on the phone and the manager I spoke to via the phone were much worse. I have never encountered this in my entire life to this level. How an organization that big is this incompetent and provide such terrible customer service is beyond me. I canceled all my accounts.

I was with PNC Bank for years watched them progressively get worse and worse seems like I spend more time on the phone with them than ever before I called them yesterday to see why there was a hold on a refund three times and three times I was blatantly without a doubt lied to by their customer service Representatives. Check your phone records if they're recorded for quality assurance I'm sure nothing will get done as usual but as soon as this issues cleared up I'm done with PNC Bank and I suggest everyone else does too they... read more

Highly unethical bank trying to reach to customer's pockets. Charging for paper statements even after opting for online statements. Says that is how PNC does, send more statements and charge for it and some service charges. Please stay away. I will take my money to some other bank

******* ******* PNC -was not our Bank choice we were with Compass 20yrs My husbands bank card was compromised by scimmers who proceeded to purchase American Airlines Tickets $1287 worth I called the bank because I got alerts the account was at zero that’s when I saw the purchase I asked for the manager who would not handle my problem so the teller could not put a stop payment had to wait to see if the bank cleared the theft or rejected it of course they cleared it and took their 4x36 in overdraft fees not only was a crook ho... read more

Worst bank ever. The customer service rep have no idea how to do their jobs. What the point to have them work online and no cash in the banks??! I ain't bank with them ever!!

My wife has an *** ******* with PNC as well as a checking *******. She has become medically disabled with the degenerative brain disease. In order to attend to her financial affairs and future care, I have been attempting to access her *** for five months now and PNC continually refuses. I have sent information as requested including the appropriate power of attorney. I have been a customer of PNC for decades and regularly recommended this bank to others. Recently, PNC made a very corporate-centric decision to allow money transfers to others Only through the Zelle phone app. If they want to limit customers to the use of Zelle, they are well aware that they can make Zelle available for online banking (as other banks, such as US Bank offer) in addition to the phone app, per the needs/preferences of customers.The choice this company made, and in the context of significant growth, signals a l... read more
