PNC closed my account without any warning or notice. I found out when I was at the grocery store last night when my debit card was rejected. When I called I was told that they had the right to close the account without a reason. And I have to wait **** days for the money in the account to be sent to me via a cashier's check.
Appearently bills are paid through a third party company called fiserv. I closed my account for over 90 days upgrading to a virtual wallet and using **** pay. They drafted out of my closed account which was closed and I got charged and my **** pay suspended until I paid the third party which I couldnt do from my checking as it was locked. It was never explained in anyway that a third party has access and pays bills in this manner. I had to pay a penalty for a company I never heard of just to use my money again. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! THEY TOOK MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT AFTER THE LOAN WAS PAID IN FULL (MONTH AFTER THE CLOSING) AND STILL DIDN'T RETURN IT!!!! STAY AWAY!!!
They **** 100%. no bank branches available, at least within bbva I had a branch near by, their banking is below par, why would it take 5 days for a payment made to even show up? They even s**** you with their no overdraft protection , I'm sure that's why they don't update your statements , don't bank with them , you'll have better luck with a shoe box under your bed
pnc bank has the ultimate worst employees at their offices..i have filed a complaint before and of course nothing was done...they treat you like dirt...was to have a ***** contact my husband and i back ..of course that was all a lie as well...no call ever received from this person...god forbid you take out a lone with then,,,never been late or missed a payment like we have and the interest they accrue at the end...they never told you what it was for until they filed and sent us to a collection agency that totally destroyed o... read more
They are refusing to allow funds to go thru. Said they fixed it and never did financially crippling you. When you can't get your stuff when in need.
This Bank allowed someone to open up three accounts on line under my name and old address after my name and address had been stolen off of the New York State website. I called numerous times to try to close the accounts due to Identity Theft, and was told to walk into a branch that was over 300 miles away, and they would close them. Worst bank ever! I've had over $150k in the account yet it glitches all the time for different reasons. Freezes your money with no way to get access to or correct it until after the weekend or holiday. App doesn't work sometimes and it locks you out because of the glitches. I've had 5 banks in my life and this ranks dead bottom. Not even trying to exaggerate.

My mortgage was sold to PNC bank so I had no option in choosing them. In Sept I wanted to switch the bank where my automated payments were coming from. They don't allow bank account updates online or on the phone, so I mailed them a letter with the updated account info. In Nov I received a letter that they hadn't received a payment for the last two months. When I called them they weren't able to give a reason for why the payments weren't going through.
