Zero stars, PNC allows "direct debit" to manage your account but has safeguards for ach/checks and one time debit, or even some reoccurring debits but no one at PNC can advise why direct debit transactions fall through the cracks. Just another opportunity to charge someone $36/day when they never asked the bank for overdraft coverage. Thanks for this "loan" with extreme interest I never asked for...

During the beginning stages of Covid-19 things were very difficult. I filed a Harship Request with them. My household income was not the same. As time went on I was trying to make some type of payments regardless. My credit was still very Good. On one particular Sunday at 7am a man came in repoed my truck. And I had just made my payment. PNC was trying to it was late when it wasn’t and I was still behind… So I ended up spend almost $1800 Dollars to get it back Plus made my payment. Now here we go again with this Bull***t. I’... read more

I have been a customer since I was in college (almost 10 years ago) and always loved them. At the time, they were one of very few banks that had no fees. I recently got married and started combining my finances with my husband, removing most bills and paychecks from PNC. I just found out they have been charging me a $15 monthly service fee. They claim this has always been the case if you don't have direct deposit. I did not have a regular job during college or immediately after and never had fees or direct deposit then. They... read more

My husband and I have been trying to make our car payment since 4/7 (its due date). The *** website has been down and/or just not working at all and we've been unable to make the payment online. Whenever we select our external bank, it reverts us right back to the home page. I can tell they've been re-doing it, but why would they take away the option to use my external bank account?Whenever we call before work or on our lunch break, we are on hold for our entire hour without ever getting through to a representative. Today, 4... read more

My pharmacy charged me $1,915.26 accidentally instead of charging my copay card for my medication. This was THEIR mistake, not mine in any way as I didn't authorize the payment or know that it was even going to be taken out. The pharmacy told me the only way they could refund me this SIGNIFICANT amount of money was through a physical check, which would take 7-10 business days to get delivered. My pharmacy advised me to reach out to PNC to have them cancel the charge. I contacted PNC, and was advised to call back the next day... read more

I spent the past four weeks dealing with ************** Office and experienced nothing but incompetency. The representative "AL" who was my contact was inaccurate, unresponsive, did not follow up on ANYTHING, caused me and my family a great deal of distress. All we were trying to do is POA four accounts and confirm beneficiaries for each account. What I experienced was incorrect account numbers, improper faxing, acts of omission and nothing but BS. I, as is my family, are outraged at the sheer lack of follow up and are still... read more

If I can give 0 stars I would. They promote Zelle saying they protect your money. After I was scammed out of money on Cashapp, I was scammed AGAIN on Zelle (people are cruel). Both times, PNC refused to assist. Despite saying multiple times by multiple people that if I switched to Zelle I would be protected if I was scammed again. And when I went to customer service and told them I was going to go to file a small claims dispute they called the cops on me for saying I was making threatening statements. Luckily the cops saw it... read more

I have had the worst week with PNC bank. First I had fraud on my card a new one was mailed out.. to an old address. Then I was told I have to go into the bank, which were only open during my exact work hours. Then I cut my day short to go into the bank only to leave with a card that was linked to an account that was NOT mine. Then I was told a card would be sent Overnight and to use my previous PIN number. Two business days later I received my card I tried to activate it three different ways with my previous pin number via t... read more

Is there a rating for Minus 1 star? I have never experienced anything like this. My Daughter opened an account with PNC while living in VA. She passed away recently in DC. I have a VA order as the Administrator of her affairs and provided it along with her death certificate. They will not honor those documents to close her account and expects me to travel to DC courts for a piece of paper. To fight them it would cost me more than what the account is worth. By other reviews I've read, it seems to be their motive to take custo... read more
