After 8 years of being a customer of PNC, they randomly decided to lock my banking accounts and credit card for 30 days after I tried sending a few wires out to my investment account, which I have done numerous times in the past. I WAS UNABLE TO ACCESS ANY OF MY OWN MONEY. I spent hours on the phone with their customer service who ultimately have zero idea what they are doing. The worst banks out there. How can a bank take funds from your account without permission then say they can refund you. So unethical on so many levels. All of the representatives are useless and they call try to reach out so they can close the case without hearing your side. I was considering them for a home loan but most certainly taking my business elsewhere. Just another corrupt bank taking from the bottoms/middle class

Every day when I wake up my first wish for the day is that PNC Bank go bankruptcy if that exists in the financial world. These people had the nerves to steal $7000.00 from my lifetime savings. PNC is hands down the worst bank I've had the displeasure to use. I never should have let my account switch over from Simple. PNC has done nothing but waste my time, lie and give false information, and charged me a ridiculous amount in fees. Theirs agents can't do anything to help but tell you to wait, or lie about when the issue will be resolved. I've been trying to close my account for weeks, always to be given the run around. There is extremely unprofessional service with one of the employees at the *** location **** ************. ******, *****. ********************* seems to think it is okay to carry on a personal relationship with one of her clients by sharing personal numbers, texting and sending pics to a regular client, and carry on a non professional relationship with a client. I have(had?) a safe deposit box with PNC. The branch was located at ************************************************************. The branch has been closed for a few years and I was never notified. PNC bank doesn't have anyone willing to help me find out what happened to the box and why are they charging my account for fees for a box they can't tell me anything about. I run a charity that PNC recently took over the banking for. They placed our account as "inactive" after the first month, and continued to charge the charity (501C3) monthly fees. When trying to close the account, I spent over 3 hours on the phone as I was transferred back and forth between departments over and over again. I have had multiple issues with PNC bank and my mortgage. I did not have ANY issues with my mortgage payments until it was transferred to PNC bank. In the beginning they were duplicating my payments and then would not send me a refund for over 21 days. It was as if I was paying a mortgage on a home twice the amount I could afford and they refused to remedy the issue aside from taking 21 days to send me a paper check.
