Mark makes it easy to start planning your installation with his ready to go kits. Sure, you could read up about all the choices and go your own way but by then you too would be an expert. I would say you would need "a friendly electrician" to help with more technical aspects of your installation, unless of course you are an electrician but even then this may not be your field of expertise. Plug in Solar supplied me with a 3 panel kit which came with everything I needed to get a little system going. Everything turned up well packaged on a pallet and really quickly. The hardware is fairly straight forward to set up but I found the software a little trickier, however the team at Plug in Solar were always at the end of the phone to give the the help I needed. Mark was superb and honest in his solution for our battery and solar needs.
