The Pleasant Cafe has been specializing in Italian and American food since the late 1930s. All of our sauces, dough, soups, gravy are made daily in house. We are known for our pizza which brings in customers from all over New England. Hand rolled thin crust cooked to perfection with a cheese blend that was shredded that day from a large block of cheese. What could be better? Bring the whole family, dine happily and leave without breaking the bank.

The only restaurant I'd drive 35 minutes for. Dependably the best pie around, cold beer, friendly wait staff and we always meet someone fun. A Boston original
The place has been around forever and the food is still great
My all time favorite pizza. Been going here since I was a child!!! Nothing has changed since then except for a new bathroom and AC!!!
Love it. Have been going there for over 50 years. I never had a bad meal at the Pleasant. When friends and family come back to Boston for a visit, first thing they say is ,"let's go to the Pleasant".
My husband and I have been married for 48 years and we have been going to the Pleasant Cafe for 49 years. He brought me there on a date after a movie and it has been my favorite pizza ever since. All of the food is delicious. Our four children love it and we have brought some of our grandchildren too. Wonderful people make up the staff and it has never changed.
