We just moved into a house with gates on the main driveway and a side entrance gate. The gates had seen much better days so we decided to get them replaced. We'd heard good things about Platers and so decided to get a quote. Not the experience I was expecting especially for the price. Fence installation wasn't followed to spec and post and gate not flush, postcrete not mixed as weak, they also left a mess. Fence looks ok, as although post timber looks cheap. Lesson learned, not always the case that high reviews of long standing business will be top notch. This town is desperate for good trades with good customer service...I hope you can improve... it's not always about making as much profit as you its about doing it right first time. I had a made to measure tongue and groove gate made. Very pleased with the gate Excellent service in office and workshop. Would highly recommend them
