My experience with Dr. James was a very positive one. He was kind and very patient. I was grateful for the time that he took to explain my condition using visuals and multiple examples. He was willing to answer questions and even told me that if I had additional questions that he would be available to answer them.
The only thing I am sorry about is not having surgery sooner! I forgot what it was like before pain. I woke up with no more burning, pins & needles or pain. It has been 6 weeks & feeling better every day. So thankful fo Dr. James & his staff!
Dr James seems to be a very knowledgeable Dr. I was very pleased with him on my first visit. I will continue seeing him. He did a thorough exam, answered questions and explained my situation in depth. I high recommend Dr James. The staff was excellent as well. Thank you all for your service!!
Dr. James did my L2/L3 and L3/L4 lateral fusion on 1/31/18 and I'm finally pain free, been dealing with back, hip and leg pain for over 10yrs. His staff is excellent and friendly and surgery went great. I've had 3 other back procedures and this was hands down the smoothest. Highly recommend!

Before my surgery and treatment by Dr. James my pain was so severe it was difficult to walk across a room; now I'm back to gardening, hiking, riding my bike and most anything else I want to do. I encourage you to do your homework; examine the credentials of your surgeon and know you have full confidence in who is treating you. Dr. James is extremely caring of his patients and of their outcomes. He is a fantastic surgeon and helped both my husband and me with our disc issues - his lower back & my neck. We are both pain free for the first time in years! His staff is also competent, professional, knowledgeable and caring. I would recommend Dr. James to anyone who is looking for the best care.
Dr James has performed 3 lumbar fusions for me over the past 7 years. My outcomes have been excellent. I have at least one cervical fusion coming in the near future and will see dr James for it. I have total confidence in him.
Very through, makes you feel real comfortable and also make sure that you understand what’s going on with your body. It was my 1st visit and I’m very pleased with the doctor and it’s staff.
