Deep-dish pizza is synonymous with Chicago and at Pizzeria Uno, the kitchen claims to have invented the famous pie. Lou Malnati may disagree, but nonetheless Pizzeria Uno has played a big part in Chicago culinary history. The pizzeria has since moved around the country as a franchise, but this location is the first. On weekends and during busy summer events, the wait time to get a table can be long, up to two hours sometimes, but it is worth it. The one-of-a-kind crust, loaded thick with toppings make the pizza very hearty; ... read more

Super Pizza – Consistently great pizza over the years - the ingredients may be the same, but somehow they come together here better than almost anywhere
This did not live up to what i expected at all. I have eaten at so many better pizza places in chicago. this is not what chicago pizza is about.
Uno-derful – The Numero Uno is delicious and filling. Plenty of cheese, scrumcious crust, mouth-watering ingredients... A small pizza always seems to be enough for two, and if you can't finish... wrap! It will taste great later.
Fantastic – To my surprise, UNO's pizza was better than Lou's. By that I mean tastier with a fresher dough
Standard for a Chicago Pizza – Taste, texture and volume are the operative words to describe Uno's Chicago Pizza. Many have tried, but none have been able to duplicate. It seems that other Uno's outside Chicago have failed to replicate the true taste.
long waits, unpleasant people – I dined at Uno's on a thursday night, not there busiest by the way, the waitress took forever to come to the table, and she placed the wrong order and had the nerve to argue with us over it and said what we odered wasn't on the menu (it was by the way). The manager apologized and said the other pizza would be out in 10 minutes, 40 minutes went by and no pizza but we did get to hear the waitress bitch about how this wasn't her fault at all and it was every one elses. We didn't have time to eat ... read more
Uno's is probably on God's List of Best! – I'm from Cincy, OH! People here are afraid to try new things! But not our family, grew up in cincy eating at Unos on Beechmont and downtown. I've read the story about Pizzeria Unos and Duos! Chicagos best is the best every where! Who needs snazzy service, when you come to pay for the best God honoring pastry crust pizza! I love the Four Cheeser, add tomatoes! And must try the ever filling Chicken Salad bowl! How about that dam good wine! We went every birthday, holiday and special n... read more
can't believe it is in the top 5 – Top 5 hardly.. the pizza is good not great, the service is less than the pizza...the parking is impossible, but if you are an out of towner who has never had chicago pizza try a few other places first...Uno is tasty but should not win, place or show
very good – Very good pizza. the crust is awesome, the toppings were fresh, look forward to coming back for seconds
