My cat had to go early on a Sunday due to throwing up - found out he needed emergency surgery. I waited about 3 hours to be seen but my cat wasn't exhibiting any horrible symptoms at that time and the place was PACKED. The staff was great and dr Christ was very compassionate and detailed in explaining how things could go (good AND bad). Fortunately we were a success story. So much, in fact, that I got a $300 CREDIT. Yes the surgery and ER did total about $3,000 which was painful in itself - but not nearly as painful as it wo... read more

Two of my FIV+ special needs cats have now seen Dr. Mendoza for complex dental procedures. It's just another day at the office for this amazing doctor, and both cats came home like nothing ever happened at all. I wish she saw human patients!

PVSEC provides the absolute best care you can give your pets! My dog underwent double knee surgery here last summer with Dr. Payne and got back to 100%. Although she recently lost her battle with cancer, the care she received from Dr. Newman, Cait, Joy, Ali and many others we didn't get to meet allowed her to live her last few months to the fullest. I will never hesitate to take any future dog here!

Dr. MacKillop just saw my Boston terrier Elmo today . The whole staff at PVSEC was kind, polite, and very professional. Dr. Mackillop was very compassionate and addressed all of our concerns. He took his time explaining everything to us and not once did we feel like we were rushed. Working at a veterinary clinic myself , I would highly recommend any referral to PVSEC. I knew my little guy was in great hands and we received great news today!
