Dr. Merkwan is wonderful and the staff is always friendly. My daughter has tarantulas and Dr. Merkwan has been amazing. Ivy had to have a leg amputated and each time we brought her in, Dr. Merkwan took his time, was patient, informative and talked straight to my daughter about her pets, which was great. We couldn’t ask for a better or more knowledgeable exotic vet. We know our animals will be taken care of and treated like they are Dr. Merkwan’s own pets. I am so impressed with Pitts! My two dogs and I went last night for nail trims and one doesn't do well with them at all. They made sure she was comfortable and let me stay in the room and she did SO good. Thank you Pitts!

Dr Merkwan is a caring and knowledgeable Doctor. He has answers or makes sure he gets them. Worth every mile to drive to him.
I love Pitts. Every time I come in the senior staff know me and my dogs and they take wonderful care of them when they need to be boarded. Mandilyn and Bailee are my favorite! Dr. Falloon is well versed in my senior dogs and their issues and is always happy to answer questions or provide guidance in their care. It’s a 20 minute drive and there are closer vets but I’ll never go anywhere else!
