Great Place! – This is my favorite place to get pizza! It is so nice to sit outside and people watch when it is a beautiful day. It was a lot larger than I expected inside. There are a lot of families there but, at the same time, it is romantic. The portions are large, so keep that in mind when you order. I take clients here for lunch and they love it.

Delicious Italian food, impersonal service – I went to Pietro with a colleague for lunch. Being lunchtime the place was crowded, but we were lucky to get a table without any wait. I will have to say that the service at this place is extremely impersonal, from the person who showed us to our table to the waitress who waited on us. The food though is delicous and reasonably priced. We were served with 10 min of placing our order. We ordered 2 entrees and 2 drinks and the total bill came to $30.

Mean staff, horrendous service – Horrendous, angry, unapologetic service. Both slow and unfriendly -- the staff acted as if our patronage was a burden and never smiled even once. I learned upon arrival that they lost my reservation, but they offered no solution nor apology. After begging for a table, the 12 of us crammed into an 8 person table (being noon, the place was empty). After waiting 30 minutes for our waitress, we had to ask the manager for her. He scowled at us and acted like it was our fault that our waitress hadn... read more

User review by jananaphone – My boyfriend and I found Pietro's on this website and, after reading the good reviews, decided to give it a try. It is AMAZING. The food is absolutely delicious (you will never have better pizza or salad). If you're looking for a cheap Italian dinner, this is the place to go. We've gone three or four times, and each time we split a pizza and a salad, which is more than enough--we always end up taking a few slices home with us, and that dinner usually only costs us around $25. The restaurant is ad... read more

User review by lbien – I've been here three times and I've had a pleasant experience all three times. I absolutely love italian food, and Pietro's was delicious. The service was also pretty good.

Great Pizza...great salad... – great, relatively inexpensive italian spot in Rittenhouse Sq. area of town. Not much parking, which I guess is a con, but living in the city its not so much of a big deal. I had a 10 minute wait at a very busy time Saturday night. The waitress took really good care of us until we got our food and then she kinda of disappeared. No problem, at the time, but if I had needed something it could have been a problem. The Greek salad was amazing, and LARGE! The pizza was also very very good. Lots of ch... read more

Never Again – Received extremely poor customer service from management & waitstaff. Main course served, husband sat for 10 minutes, arms crossed (waiting for requested glass of water that he never received), never touched food. Waitress realized meal was not touched, explained sauce too watery, had weird smell, she offered talk w/manager, get him something else. Ten minutes later, manager arrives, looks @it, explains nothing wrong with meal, has it wrapped. Put my fork down, push dish to side, that & empty glasses on table, ... read more

Former NY'er & loved it! – It was busy, but we were seated immediately and the attention from the wait staff was good. The salad was fine, hot bread was great. But the pizza -- fantastic! The crust was very good. For toppings we chose meatball. Here they do it right. Their meatball is actual meatball sliced thin and placed on the pizza, not crumpled ground meat. It was a pleasure eating here after a long day of the sights in Philly.

good choice of toppings... – This place looks really nice. I had to walk in after seeing a few patrons eating pizza next to the window seats. We ordered the stuff mushrooms, which was spicy and good. Then we had the pizza with eggplant toppings. The price and services was excellent.
