I went in with back pain radiating up to my neck and sat in the waiting room for over 30 min. Mind you I couldn't move my head and was in a lot of pain. I then get back to see a nurse and am told I have to wait and see the PA and she won't be in for 10 min. I was like that's fine but I wasn't seen for at least an hour and then I get put in a room where it takes to nurses to stick me with an IV and then they give me morphine and expect me to walk down and get X-rays. Lady at front desk was very rude! I left there at 6am after being there since 9:35pm and was in the same pain as I arrived in! I will not be going back
Eastside has always been my hospital of choice for myself and my family. With my gold and diamond crusted "admit" bracelet, I came in for my scheduled surgery on Thursday April 20th with Dr. Mally. As soon as I arrived, the sweet volunteer checked me in and I was taken back. Nurse Tammy in pre-op got me settled. She was amazing. Very thorough, very kind and had me laughing and at ease. I made the mistake of going to another Emergency room and realized why Eastside Medical Center is my #1 hospital. ... They don't discriminate and they aren't racist. They know who my Dr is and if I go in and tell them who he is, they waist no time to get me taken care of. 12 years I've gone there and I'm � satisfied! Thank you EMC.
