I was born and raised in Lafayette, LA and am proud to serve the families of southern Louisiana. As a Pediatric Ophthalmologist, I primarily care for children's eye needs from glasses/contacts to surgery. I am also trained in adult strabismus (crossed eyes, double vision). At Lafayette Family Eye Care, we strive to stay at the forefront of all medical and technological advances. Most importantly, we provide our patients with the highest quality eye care in a warm, friendly environment.

Both of my twins have been patients here since they were 2 years old. He is definitely a professional doctor. His desire to give my twins the best eye care available is TOP NOTCH. He is the best around.
Dr. Piccione has cared for my 5 children for the past 8 years. He is professional, caring, and prompt with appointments. He is extremely intelligent which has put my mama mind at ease when we have had eye troubles requiring surgery as well as quickly noticing vision changes and getting my children into the proper pair of glasses. We love Dr. Piccione and his staff!
I have two daughters that have been wearing glasses since they were babies and I would trust no one else but Dr. Piccione. Caring staff and understanding when it comes to babies. We've been seening Dr. Piccione for 13 years now and will continue to in the future.
We first saw Dr. Piccione in 2002 for our baby who was in need of glasses. He has since followed all four of our children. Each visit has always been courteous and professional. Many of the other people whom I have recommended to see Dr. Piccione have all expressed genuine satisfaction in the professional care that they received. I highly recommend Dr. Piccione to anyone in need of excellent professional care!
Dr. Piccione and his staff are extremely friendly, professional, and courteous. We have been coming here for years. He is knowledgeable, takes his time with us, and explains everything in detail. I would not take my son anywhere else.

We've had an amazing experience with Dr. Piccione. My son Greyson is 4 1/2 years old w/significant developmental delays. He's been in physical therapy since he was 10 months old.By his 4th birthday, he had the strength/skills to walk independently, but fear of falling was holding him back. Months ago it became noticeable that one of Greyson's eyes was turning inward. Dr. Piccione straightened his eye with a 20min procedure and 2 days later, Greyson began to walk. We could not be more grateful.
Our four kids have been patients of Dr. Piccione for 9 years. We have three in glasses and two with rare eye conditions and he and his staff have been a blessing to us. He is always will to help and provide relief and help when needed! He is very knowledgeable and the kids actually enjoy coming to the eye doctor! We would recommend all kids see DR. Piccione!
We were referred to Dr. Piccione after my 4 year old son was diagnosed with strabismus. He has been so calming and patient when examining my son, who isn't always eager to participate. His willingness to try everything before considering surgery is one of the best things about him. Even though surgery may be the last resort, I'm confident in his abilities to treat my son. His staff is wonderful as well!
