I was born and raised in Lafayette, LA and am proud to serve the families of southern Louisiana. As a Pediatric Ophthalmologist, I primarily care for children's eye needs from glasses/contacts to surgery. I am also trained in adult strabismus (crossed eyes, double vision). At Lafayette Family Eye Care, we strive to stay at the forefront of all medical and technological advances. Most importantly, we provide our patients with the highest quality eye care in a warm, friendly environment.

Dr. Piccione is awesome! He has taken great care of our kids. We also love his office staff. The entire clinic offers great customer service and are very efficient.
Dr Piccione has been seeing my children for at least 10 years. He successfully performed a surgery on one of my children at a year old. Her eyes are still perfect. We see Dr Piccione for regular checkups for all four of my children. The office staff is always efficient and courteous.
Dr. Piccione is AMAZING!!! I have been coming to Dr. Piccione for eight years! He is very accurate with his exam. He has done surgery on my oldest son, and everything went wonderful. I would definitely recommend Dr. Piccione as an eye doctor for every kid!
The ULTIMATE in quality! It was God send finding Dr. Piccione. Educated in adult strabismus (as well as children) he’s the very best at what he does. My right eye has been an ongoing problem, he was able to get the measurement and aligmanenr perfect with a quick uneventful surgery. Recovery was a breeze. He takes great pride in doing a great job and it shows, from the quality of his staff, to the crease in his immaculate docrors coat. I’m very pleased indeed!
Both of my twins have been patients here since they were 2 years old. He is definitely a professional doctor. His desire to give my twins the best eye care available is TOP NOTCH. He is the best around.
Dr. Piccione has cared for my 5 children for the past 8 years. He is professional, caring, and prompt with appointments. He is extremely intelligent which has put my mama mind at ease when we have had eye troubles requiring surgery as well as quickly noticing vision changes and getting my children into the proper pair of glasses. We first saw Dr. Piccione in 2002 for our baby who was in need of glasses. He has since followed all four of our children. Each visit has always been courteous and professional. Many of the other people whom I have recommended to see Dr. Piccione have all expressed genuine satisfaction in the professional care that they received. I highly recommend Dr. Piccione to anyone in need of excellent professional care!
Dr. Piccione and his staff are extremely friendly, professional, and courteous. We have been coming here for years. He is knowledgeable, takes his time with us, and explains everything in detail. I would not take my son anywhere else.
