The Nurse Practitioner was not wearing a mask the whole time and was very blasé about it. Being that reckless during a global pandemic is unacceptable as a medical facility!!! 😡😡😡😡😡
RecommendedI would recommend Physicians care in Hixson!! I went to urgent care in soddy on a Friday with abdomen pain. I was sent to get an xray and was told they would call with results. I call three times Friday and was told they had the xrays but the nurse was busy. I called Saturday morning and was told the same. I was still in pain on Monday and went to physicians care and was sent for a CT scan. Physicans care called me 15 minutes after leaving the scan telling me to go to the ER for appendicitis. Waiting room is filthy. was there on Monday and they do not sterilize chairs or counters. people come and go and no one will come clean the chairs or wipe them. nurses not wearing masks, lady at front desk has mask under chin not covering nose or mouth.
Do not go to Physician's Care in Hixson. Don't do it!! Apparently, when you sign in they request a card for their file. You do NOT have to do this. But according to their billing office if you refuse to put a card on file, they will require up front payment or they will refuse treatment. Again, you don't have to do that if you have insurance. The doctor asked a couple of questions and then said I would have to go to the an emergency center. No medical care was given, yet they saw fit to charge $136.00 to tell me to go to an emergency center! This was my third less than satisfactory visit; never again.
I haven’t been to a doctor in many years . I needed alittle blood work done to help me figure out some things . The staff could feel how nervous I was and were so friendly . Once my results came in I was pleased that they suggested diet over medicine . One of the biggest reasons I haven’t gone to a doctor was fear of pill pushing . They definitely helped calm my mind about doctors and my health .
Been here for a few hours. Still in the waiting room. You shouldn’t take my money until AFTER someone has been seen because now you’ve taken my money I’ve wasted HOURS in this lobby and I can’t leave. I won’t be coming back
I have been missed diagnosed several times at this place and I will never return again!
