Formerly known as Williams Gateway Airport, it is definitely convenient for residents of the East Valley as well. The only airline that services Gateway is Allegiant Airlines, but it has several low-cost routes around the country. Additionally, the airport has a few car rental companies located in the main terminal.

Drizzling snow in May delayed a flight and mow 7 of us are stuck until 6:50 am........really!

The airport is easy to get through for outbound flights but getting your baggage after arrival is ridiculous. 45-60 minutes at least, every time.
We love going to the grass field and having a picnic while watching the planes land and take off. It's a great way to spend the afternoon when the weather is nice.
Not even worth going there, except the price. It's clean and small. But staff is a little dimwitted. But I'll be back
