Though not as large as the Sky Harbor International Airport, the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport functions as a regional airport for those who want to fly on a budget airline. Formerly known as Williams Gateway Airport, it is definitely convenient for residents of the East Valley as well. The only airline that services Gateway is Allegiant Airlines, but it has several low-cost routes around the country. Additionally, the airport has a few car rental companies located in the main terminal.

The airport is one of the best, built for our government and now open to public. It is among the best in the country. The services contracted on the property is less then favorable.

So glad there are other options than SkyHarbor .... Alligiant as a budget airline delivers exactly what they promote .... Lower airfare is the key .... Gateway Airport itself easy to get in and get out of ....
Exceptional Service & Convenient~
Had a horrific experience with Allegiance Air today. 12 people missed the flight to Provo because they had one person working the baggage check in. 3 employees Becky-16293, Danette-16181 & Sondra-16579 offered no help, sympathy or concern for our situation. Calls have been escalated to CEO Maurice Gallagher. Shout out to Shannon D. the one kind employee we encountered this morning. #mauricegallagher #allegiantair #mesagatewayairport
Never again! Mesa airlines has handled the Gofly shutdown so poorly. Agent here in HI told us "we" cancelled our flight. After a battle Mesa gave up the effort and let us go! Mesa Airlines = bad customer service!
