Though not as large as the Sky Harbor International Airport, the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport functions as a regional airport for those who want to fly on a budget airline. Formerly known as Williams Gateway Airport, it is definitely convenient for residents of the East Valley as well. The only airline that services Gateway is Allegiant Airlines, but it has several low-cost routes around the country. Additionally, the airport has a few car rental companies located in the main terminal.

Easy great airport. Close to cousins house . It's dialed
better than last time. This time the line wasn't quite as long.
Love the nice small airport, BUT, baggage claim is a nightmare! Takes forever and there is no place to sit.
It's kind of "out there" but the entire airport staff goes the extra mile (pun intended) to ensure customer satisfaction. It reminds me of how airports used to be before all the insanity. Even the TSA is relatively pleasant to deal with.
My first time in and out Mesa Gateway. Thank you for welcoming WestJet and all of us snowbird travellers. Airport is small, easy to get around, no big crowds like SkyHarbour. Love the outdoor courtyards. Look forward to my next flight to MG.

Allegiant made my move to Arizona much easier with direct flights to ND. I am so thankful for this airport, knowing family is only 3 hours away.

We got to the airport an hour ahead of our flight. The ticket counter was closing and the lady was very rude saying "You are supposed to be here 2 hours early, not one hour early." She did go ahead and let us check our bags in but several times mentioned how "late" we were. We then went to security. The man there was even more rude. I had my elderly father with me and had his boarding passes on my phone. The man kept telling my dad to go to a different line.
