Though not as large as the Sky Harbor International Airport, the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport functions as a regional airport for those who want to fly on a budget airline. Formerly known as Williams Gateway Airport, it is definitely convenient for residents of the East Valley as well. The only airline that services Gateway is Allegiant Airlines, but it has several low-cost routes around the country. Additionally, the airport has a few car rental companies located in the main terminal.

Worst airport, had to wait over an hour for luggage.
Flew into and out of Phoenix-Mesa Gateway. Close to our destination in Mesa. Early flight out on Feb. 19th in rainy weather. PMGA needs to invest in covered baggage carts!!!! Flight was almost2 hours delayed and all the luggage was sitting on a cart in the rain. Needless to say, still very wet upon arrival in St. Cloud😏
We flew in and out of Mesa Gateway for the first time this month. We are Canadian travellers and our place in STV is much closer to this airport. We fly #Westjet and they are always fabulous. The airport itself, though obviously smaller than Sky Harbor, was great. Very clean, staff was very friendly and helpful. I noticed that Westjet didn't have kiosks at check in so having to go to an agent was a slower process, but she was very friendly as well. Awesome! Fast luggage too. Please WestJet don't stop flying there
airport is nice, but service sucks, got to stand inline for over 2hours to go through security chek and baggage check after we had done it, every one in termenal had to do this. then finnaly got on plane and they had a computer problem and we sit in plane for 2 and a half hours, w/ no food or water tell the last 1/2 hour when we complaned we were thirsty. took us off plane and ahour later got on another and was waiting to go and they say plane was canceled because united airlines closed all gates down in des moines, ia. so t... read more
Easiest airport I have ever flown from. I look forward to using again I'm the near future for a round trip this time! Great service!!
