I was booked in to see a GP at the Phoenix Centre instead of my usual GP practice. I was booked in for 16.15. I checked in at reception at 15.55 and waited until 16.40 and I still was not called to see the GP. In the end, I could not wait any longer because I had another appt to get to so I was not seen by the GP. All the receptionist did was apologise and advise me to ring my GP surgery again in the morning. What a disgrace! Doctor and nurse looking down their nose at me and my poorly daughter. Wasted trip to be told 2 years for treatment after waiting 2 years with chronic eczema. Never again will my daughter step foot in this dump!
I've had two appointments here for physiotherapy so far and had a really good experience. The receptionists are really friendly and helpful and the physiotherapist, Paul Harrison, is one of the best NHS health professionals I've ever seen. He's really understanding and takes the time to listen and fully explain things, and he's the first person I've seen in 3 years who has made me feel that I can actually recover.
