I pride myself on being honest and listening to the patient. Too often physicians do not listen to their patients. Istriveevery day to be a better listener and physician. Also, I treat everyone based on the principle "to do no harm". I think of my patients as a family members andtreat them asI would want my loved ones treated. Moreover, Ibelievethe patient should bea keyplayer in deciding the treatment plan. Medicine is a team effort that needs clear communication. Most importantly, I will always be available for my patients... read more

My initial appointment was very informative with Dr. To explaining the cause and potential solution of my problem.
A severely broken wrist which the ER was unable to properly realign. New to the city but several neighbors independently recommended Dr. To. He unsurprisingly did not have availability but I was told his PA would see me asap. He apparently saw my X-ray, came in immediately and worked long and hard to manually set it before surgery 3 days later. If you are ever kept waiting, it is only because he is with a patient worse off than you! He is obviously smart, highly experienced, professional and compassionate about his work. He ... read more
Went to see Dr. To after a fall due to significant pain in my hand and wrist after I fell on vacation. From the moment he walked into the exam room, he didn't listen to anything I had to say. Before my appt, I had an x-ray done on my hand and sent over to him, which he didn't even look at. After a 15 second inspection on my hand/wrist, he determined I had 'complex regional pain syndrome'. I asked if there was a chance of a break or possible tendon damage, and he said "I just gave you my diagnosis, that's it". I just went to ... read more
One of the irksome things of going to a doctor for an initial visit is the "stack" of forms to be filled-out in the waiting area. Dr To's office sent to me, the form via email so that I could fill them out at my leisure and with all of the records or scripts that are available to me in the waiting room. Waiting time was minimal and Dr To was very pleasant. His office sent a referral for some tests of the nerves in my hand and indicated that be believed that he could help me.
I was having problems with my thumbs on both hands that was continuing to get worse. I was very pleased with my experience with Dr To. He took the time with me to explain the problems and to talk about options. He was very good and very personable. I have complete confidence in the treatment steps he discussed with me. I am already feeling improvement.
I was very pleased with my appointment with Dr. To. He is very caring and easy to speak with. Great results from my "trigger finger" surgery.
It really is a pleasure to know Dr. To and to know I'm in good hands with him. I have total faith in him in correcting my hands issues. He has a great bed-side manner. I am not intimidated by him whatsoever. I feel very comfortable with his expertise. I'm 73 and he doesn't even make me feel old!
From the front desk warm welcoming to the initial intake technician to the x-ray technician to Dr. To himself I felt well informed and well taken care of.
He is gentle, caring, explicit with directions. Dr. To is everything a surgeon should be.
