We are nothing but frustrated with the customer service over our last claim. It has been a complete run around and so much work on my part and the vets to get PetsBest information that they should already have and to explain that additional information does not exist but you closed the claim on us anyway. Well hi everyone I just recently joined Pets Best insurance company and I've seen about half good & half bad reviews that almost steered me away but I decided not to. I'll go by my own expierence & not judge. I love your prices & coverages & that's why I'm in. Not everyone can be convicted on judgement of others. What a scam. Big waste of your time and money. Choose a different company. I wasted over 200 dollars on pet insurance only for them to find every reason not to pay the claim. Plus they take a month at a time so that by the time they deny you you have payed another month’s premium. And their appeals? They take a another whole month! So you pay for another month.
My claim for a uti was denied. I called the company twice during the 28 days to process my claim making sure they had all of my records and was told yes: the reason for the over $509 denied was “we tried to contact your vet for additional information but never recurved anything”. This is not true and I even have it in text from an employee I talked to 5 hours ago. I pay for $200 deductible and 90% reimbursement. I am livid right now!
I'm pretty disappointed in this company. I Started the insurance in Nov.2018 and on April 13, 2019 my 1 yr old lab had his first accident. Now mind you I should have read the policy a little closer. I called to speak to customer support about my dogs accident. I was informed that there was a 6 month waiting period for the cruciate ligament(ACL tear). I have had numerous problems with my Charlie throughout all 4 years of his little life. In January 2019 he was diagnosed with a UTI (very rare for male dogs but that’s our luck) so after receiving treatment I decided to obtain pet insurance.This past February 2019 I joined Pets Best insurance, their rates were the most reasonable and the deductible wasn’t absolutely outrageous. As of late PETS BEST has been trying to do everything possible NOT to pay claims. BUYER BEWARE!
5 Stars! I’ve had several issues with my cat and PetsBest has been amazing. Their customer service and quick payment have helped ease the burden of dealing with a sick kitty. I highly recommend them to everyone that I know who has a pet. The are truly the best pet insurance I’ve had.
