My daughter has been fighting to get them to pay after their dog had surgery for a cancerous tumor. They said it was pre-existing, but vet denied this. Still they refuse to pay. DON’T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!
I definitely would not recommend. Submitted claim on 7/24, followed up several times and was told waiting on info from vet, then 2 days prior get a vague email requesting info from me. What information? How about put that in the email. Overall experience HORRIBLE. Do yourself a favor and chose another pet insurance.
extremely slow claim processing. not helpful just looking for a reason not to pay on claims. will be canceling both of my policies and looking elsewhere
Truly evaluate claims. My dog was seen for a skin wound/sore. Vet said "a form of skin cancer" Pet's Best denied claim after arguing with me that it was a routine visit because that was what was checked. I never read in your policy that I needed to provide the full doctors note or would have asked for it. Terrible customer service. I purchased insurance in February , in August I had to take the dog to the doctor and this insurance company is not processing a claim . This insurance company is a scam. Please be aware!!!
Tinam so thankful for this insurance. I had got an accidental plan for my pup. He passed suddenly and the insurance covered his surgery before he had passed, thank you.
Paid claims quickly, coverage was great, but they increased the premium about 50% as my pet got older, my rate jumped from 112 to 167 per month for example this year (for accident and illness only coverage).When I canceled I called the day my plan was to renew and they insisted on me paying for that day. I called prior to 9am Pacific time and they would not refund the entire month's fee, instead they prorated the month, charged me for today, and charged a $2 transaction fee also.
My dog tore his acl and you guys told me it wasn't covered but I had the additional ACL added in the beginning was told I am all good and covered. My conversation with the employee before it was added she stated it was to cover acls and after adding it was told I was all good. now they are back tracking and not wanting to pay out for anything. cancelled insurance.
My dog has been insured with Petsbest since 2014. I just filed a claim and they denied it saying that she had a pre-existing condition. We got the policy when she was a puppy. Have paid it every month and just used it for the second time. She had a checkup and was cleared for anything pre-existing at the time we got the policy. Now I have to wait another few days for them to review my claim for the third time. Very frustrated right now.
