My stay here was 12 days for head and neck cancer and I have to say the care was exceptional,the nurses were right on the ball ii was on the 4th floor And in the tower and I don't have one complaint.9 days were spent in medical intensive care and 3 days in the tower and everyone was great. The team of drs were exceptional. This hospital was so good to me. Thank you Brigham and women's hospital.

Spent 3 months there with endocarditis. Had open heart surgery, heart valve replacement and all 10 of my toes amputated. Great doctors, good nurses, tolerable aids.
The Brigham, the late Dr Davidson and his team were instrumental in saving my life a year ago. They worked together with my family to diagnose , treat an ungodly number of atypical reactions, side effects , and complications. Without the surgery I would not live. Without resolution of all that resulted I would have been a "vegetable"! I can not say enough good about being able to walk, talk, live in my space and continue to rebuild my life. I continue to be followed at the Brigham, and do not plan to change that!
My mother was a patient at Brigham & Women's twice in her life. She had 2 lifesaving procedures there & had the wonderful opportunity to spend some time with the physicians & nurses in the Shapiro center. It is a beautiful facility with many talented medical professionals. I am forever grateful for the care she received.
