Prayers for the doctor and his family and all hospital staff during this critical time. How can things like this happen in an institution that is dedicated to saving lives including mine. My heart is heavy!
I had life changing surgery on my esophagus. I have a rare and incurable disease known as Achalasia. Dr. Bueno and his team, along with the phenomenal nurses made my experience a great one. I was only 22 at the time (5 years ago) I am forever grateful for their care and expertise.
Had surgery on my stomach a year ago and I feel great now. Thanks to all the staff there. Oh and they also saved my mothers life 3 times. She had open heart surgery here and thanks to them I still have a mother and shes kicking strong. Thank you to all the staff!!

At Christmas we celebrate the Miracle of Christ's Birth! For me however, everyday is Christmas! I do not need presents as the greatest gift of all was given to me in September; a new heart. This is truly a Christmas miracle and one that I will be forever grateful for throughout my entire lifetime! Thank you Brigham and Women's and thank you donor!
Great hospital. They took care of my husband in the Shiparo building awaiting a heart. He received a heart this past summer. Doing good ,trying to get used to the side Effects from the rejection meds. We will always b forever so greatful from the donor and there family .
