I recently bought a harness for my puppy online. It was too small so I went to their Boca store to return it and purchase a smaller one. To my surprise, due to Covid, Petco is not accepting returns until further notice. How is it that you can return food at Publix, items on Amazon or ANY OTHER STORE, for that matter, and not Petco? I obviously took my business across the street to PetSmart where they are happy to take your returns.
I booked an appointment eight days ago on the website for a bath and haircut. I show up at my appointment time and am told they will not have time to do a haircut on him today even though I have a haircut appointment. Will never go back for a service or purchase a product. Terrible customer service.
I have been going to Petco since 2019. I normally go to the location on Western in Evergreen Park,IL. Due to a recent move, I started going to the Homewood, IL location. Normally everyone is very nice. The procedure to pick up my dogs from grooming is to pay for the procedure while my daughter gets the dogs from the groomer. RecommendedMy 1st time at this location. They are in the middle of a remodel, yet everyone stopped and helped as soon as I walked in. The employees were wonderful, and Elvis my dog even enjoyed a treat from the treat bar. We will be back.

Went here yesterday for crickets. I bought two packs of 36 so I’d have enough for a few days. I get home and basically every single cricket was dead. Now I’ll only have enough to feed my beardie for 2 days if I’m lucky. Between both packages I didn’t even get 30 crickets that were still alive. The packages I bought were from 2/19, but they had packages on the shelf from 2/2!!! I can’t even imagine how gross those containers are. Never shopping here again.
Terrible service! Only 2 people working. I went up to the cashier for someone to help me with fish. When the girl came she refused to acknowledge me or that I was the person who called for help. Walked out with nothing. Thanks for the help!
1. Horrible, HORRIBLE customer service. I didn’t get asked once if anyone could help me and the ONLY person wearing a Petco shirt or badges was a cashier who was busy checking people out. She was a new worker and sadly the most knowledgeable out of everyone. She called numerous times to a manager who was unprofessional to her and the customers in line.
