Mixed results, but worth a try Have purchased pets, food and accessories from this store. Some of the experiences were great, but some were very disappointing. I tend to go to Petco first, and if I cannot find what I need there I go here. The staff here seems pretty knowledgeable in their animals and their needs, but for front desk service it's hit or miss for friendly, knowledgeable service. They do have some good connections in getting custom orders that other stores won't bother with!

Bad customer service especially after purchasing a pet I bought a puppy from Pet Center and had some medical problems with her....it was nothing major but I did need to ask some questions. The owner, the woman who sold me her, would not even come to the phone! I made the fact known that I DID NOT want to return her nor did I expect any monetary reimbursments...I just wanted knowledge and some information regarding her. A little more than satisfactory, but I wouldn't go as far as very good. I've been going to this shop for years now, they're the only place that carries my dogs food. When we had to switch, the owner offered to special order any food we wanted for us. They can be snippy at times, and I did run into a problem over a fish tank, it was priced as a great deal and when I went to buy it they said it was priced wrong and tried hiking the price up drastically. Not a Fan I once went into the store, and i was interested in see a puppy, i asked the lady at the counter, who i believe may have been the owner if i could take a look at the puppy, she looked and me and said in a rude tone what do you think and continued her work. The customer service at this place is horrible, the employees never seem to be happy and are also rude. bad customer service I have been going to this pet store for their great deals on their fishes. But if not for that, I would never set foot on that pet store ever after my worst experience goint to a store. I went there with my wife and my 2 y/o kid to look for a fish to be added to my community tank. They greeted us with 'courtesy' and asked may "I help you?". Looks like it will be PETCO from now on!! I have never before in my life received such horrible service...two days in a row! I purchased a cage for my puppy although the one I wanted they didn't have. Instead of offering to order what I needed they sold me one that was not right for the dog. Less than an hour later I returned to the store and learned that I could not get my money back however I could have store credit. Unacceptable, store credit is not going to give me what my dog needs. the animals are well cared for. I have bought pets at this store, and food, etc. their pups are all well cared for and come in hundreds cheaper than a lot of other pet shops. The owner does run hot and cold, but on the whole she is a nice person. She runs a place where the animals are not in cages, they play and socialize with one another. Not like other pets stores where the animals get out for a little while, these pups play all the time. The staff has never been anything but nice, so I was surprised to read otherwise.
