bad customer service I have been going to this pet store for their great deals on their fishes. But if not for that, I would never set foot on that pet store ever after my worst experience goint to a store. I went there with my wife and my 2 y/o kid to look for a fish to be added to my community tank. They greeted us with 'courtesy' and asked may "I help you?". Constantly do business with this store The store and the staff are absolutely wonderful, I have no idea why such poor reviews. I purchased my cocker spaniel last December and she is a joy. I've brought her for grooming and will be making another appointment today. I've bought food, toys etc there. They do a very brisk business. A little more than satisfactory, but I wouldn't go as far as very good. I've been going to this shop for years now, they're the only place that carries my dogs food. When we had to switch, the owner offered to special order any food we wanted for us. They can be snippy at times, and I did run into a problem over a fish tank, it was priced as a great deal and when I went to buy it they said it was priced wrong and tried hiking the price up drastically. Looks like it will be PETCO from now on!! I have never before in my life received such horrible service...two days in a row! I purchased a cage for my puppy although the one I wanted they didn't have. Instead of offering to order what I needed they sold me one that was not right for the dog. Less than an hour later I returned to the store and learned that I could not get my money back however I could have store credit. Unacceptable, store credit is not going to give me what my dog needs. Pet Center is a good place to visit. I have purchased pets from pet city for a while now, the reason I like them is the dogs play with each other in a little area all day long They are not in cages, but socializing with the others. I want that quality in a dog, I plan to take on walks, as you will meet other people with dogs along the way, and I want my dog to be friendly. I was surprized to read people think the staff is not nice, because they have always been good to myself and my teen.
Mixed results, but worth a try Have purchased pets, food and accessories from this store. Some of the experiences were great, but some were very disappointing. I tend to go to Petco first, and if I cannot find what I need there I go here. The staff here seems pretty knowledgeable in their animals and their needs, but for front desk service it's hit or miss for friendly, knowledgeable service. Bad customer service especially after purchasing a pet I bought a puppy from Pet Center and had some medical problems with her....it was nothing major but I did need to ask some questions. The owner, the woman who sold me her, would not even come to the phone! Please DO NOT PURCHASE A PUP FROM PET CENTER I promise you the vet bills will far outweigh the cost of the dog. Never purchase a puppy from a pet store. If they tell you they are from Breeders it is actually a breeder in a PUPPY MILL where the dogs and puppies are subjected to horrible cruelty and filthy conditions. Please only purchase a pet from a breeder where you can meet the pup's parents and see the place where they were born with your OWN TWO EYES. Great little store This is a great store! I've been going there for 3 years now and travel 25 miles each way. Prices are reasonable and the service is great. I like how the puppies are grouped together instead of cages.
