Long story short. We ordered this product last March. (Approx) The first deck they sent was the wrong color. However, this was due to one representative, and the owner/operator resolved this by reordering an entire new piece made from the proper color. This is a 92' vessel mind you. It's not a small order. We had a deck done with Permateak several months ago. For the most part we had a good experience with the folks who run Permateak. I will try to make a long story short. In the beginning, the project manager told me many things that turned out to be completely false. Such as; how the deck should be prepped. That Permateak temperature in the sun is close to what real teak would be, etc.. I've seen the Permeteak at 182.5 degrees f. Real teak was in the 140s.
