Drove 700 miles to come to Chicago to eat pizza, this experience was the most disappointing of the whole trip. Waited almost an hour to be seated, gave our order with 8 toppings and 2 appetizers. About 20 minutes for the appetizers. After sitting for one and a half hours we asked our server about our pizza, she came back 10 minutes later to inform us that because of 8 toppings our meal would be another 30 to 40 minutes! Had enough, paid for the appetizers and left. If they had negative stars I would give them.
Pizza was great, people friendly. Went a bit out of the way because the place was highly recommended by some friends, wasn't disappointed.
I liked the pizza. Although our waitress forgot about us for awhile...
It was decent pizza, my first time to Chicago and I heard this is the place to go? Well... I'm not certain of that. When my pizza came out the there was literally cheese on 1/2 of it and the other 50% was seriously only sauce and and pepperoni and sausage. I wasn't impressed at the effort placed on this making it. Quality when it comes to food matters and this wasn't top notch. If I could get a whole pizza as good as one 1/2 was? I'd recommend it to anyone.
If you want amazing Chicago style deep dish pizza, that's the place to be. We chose a weekday to go so less likely we have to wait. Keep in mind, this is not a place to go if you're in a hurry! The deep pizza is delish and it's worth the wait time when you wait for it to cook (approx.45 mins)
Friends of mine took me here as they raved about the place. Unfortunately our experience did not meet expectations. We were seated fairly quickly as we used the table request feature on their website. We ordered upon first approach from our server and were advised it would be 40-50 minutes for the pizza, that was fine. It took 1 1/2 hours for the pizza and a couple inquiries before it finally arrived and then about 50% of the bottom was burned. Best Chicago pizza I've had! I'm planning to make a trip just to try it again. I definitely recommend it!
the service is so bad the pizza is so so awesome they should fix the service . I know they could not be any more busy . but we don't go as often.
