Every time we have eaten here, service and food have been great! We just brought my mom here last night for her first Chicago pizza experience and she is still raving about how great it was. Our servers are always super friendly, our food always arrives way before they say it will, and our pizza is always perfect. This is, hands down, the best.
Lived here my whole life, hands down. Best in the city.
It truly is the best pizza in Chicago! Pan or thin crust the combination of the sweet tomato sauce and the tastiest sausage anywhere is to die for, and working in the area allows me to be drawn to it everyday thanks to that Pequod aromatherapy.
We are from out of state and found the place on Google I'm so glad we did we loved or pizza and the itilan sub was awesome. We will be back for sure..
This was my first time. The pizza was great. My only concern would be for the people seated close to the door- the waiting area was packed and you had to disrupt the guests that were seated to exit. Just recommend going at a less busy time. It is a great pizza.
My son graduated from UIC & we had a post graduation dinner with a group of 14. The service along with the appetizers, pizza & drinks was excellent!!
the number one thing I enjoyed about the pizza at Pequods is the pizza was not salty.I woke up the following day great without feeling I needed to drink a gallon of water to recover.
Great deep dish pizza but make you order with plenty of time.
Unfortunately my dining experience tonight at Pequod's will be my last. The pizza is good but this is the second time in a row where our server forgot our pizza order. After a 1 hour wait when we were told 30 minutes and then sitting at our table for TWO hours before we got our pizza, is not acceptable. Pequod's - if you can't handle your business appropriately there are 45000 other Chicago deep dish pizza places around where I can actually eat in a reasonable amount of time and the pizza is just as good. Fail Pequod's!
